Earlier Case Files
Saturday, April 18, Harrisburg, NC Case #RB13 Possible Benevolen Nest
Russell Beagle, L.P. I.
I'm convinced that the subject of my surveillance, Sara Parks, is one of these so-called “benevolen”, but I don't have any proof. I followed her to the Harrisburg ArtWalk to try to catch her in the act. She waited in line downtown. She didn't have a credit card history of attending such gatherings, which suggests she's hiding something. In my experience as a professional investigator, people only hide things when they're guilty. Magical beings and magic-users who claim they're good but hide sound exactly like spouses who claim they're faithful but sneak around to cheat.
But I can admit my bias, and the only magic I've seen the subject perform was to make some flowers blossom. They grew and blossomed in perhaps a minute, and I snapped several pics. All of the pics are uselessly blurry, though. I haven't observed her hurting anyone. Yet. The need to be right might explain why I'm pursuing this subject so thoroughly on mostly a hunch, and it's a good thing I edit these case files before turning them in to V.P.I, isn't it? Side note: file expenses. She passed through heading to the right, and I followed with a few people between us.
Benevolen and Malevolen Field Guide
Identifying possible magical beings can be difficult. To help, we're providing this illustrated field guide. Do you have pictures or sketches to contribute? Send us your pics of the supernatural beings (along with the permission form to use them), and we may include them in our guide! Please note that magical beings can be dangerous, and approaching them should be left to the professionals.
